Welcome to Our Chinese New Year Celebration Fundraiser!

We are excited to invite you to join us in celebrating one of the most important and festive holidays in Chinese culture—Chinese New Year! During this special event, we’ll take you on a journey through the rich traditions and customs that make this celebration so unique and meaningful.

We will share the fascinating traditions behind Chinese New Year, explaining how families in China and around the world celebrate this joyful occasion. You’ll learn about the delicious foods that are traditionally enjoyed, the customs and activities that bring families together, and the significance of the holiday’s many rituals.

One of the highlights of our celebration will be exploring Chinese New Year couplets—beautiful red scrolls filled with auspicious messages for the new year. We’ll even teach you how to write your very own couplets using traditional Chinese calligraphy on red paper!

In addition, we will also dive into the art of paper cutting, a popular Chinese craft that symbolizes good fortune and happiness for the coming year. This hands-on activity will give you a fun and creative way to engage with the tradition.
