Carefully crafted for the absolute beginner, our 12 Hours in 1 Month Group Package transforms people who have zero experience with Mandarin Chinese into students with exceptionally strong foundations of knowledge. Throughout the program, students develop their listening, speaking, reading, typing, and writing skills with a highly qualified teacher. Each teacher is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with full fluency in English, to give you the tools for a healthy foundation and self learning.

Program Overview

Each teacher is a native Mandarin Chinese speaker with full fluency in English, ensuring clear communication and smooth student progress. This beginner Chinese class is designed to build a strong foundation, enabling students to quickly and accurately pick up new words they hear, easily distinguish similar words, and soar higher on their Chinese learning journey.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program, every student will be able to:

Understand and correctly utilize the Chinese phonetic system/PINYIN (how words are pronounced)

Distinguish and write down the Chinese syllables when hearing Chinese words

Type at least 20 Chinese characters

In practice, this means that students will be able to introduce themselves to native Chinese speakers, begin to express themselves, order food in Chinese restaurants, and more! Most importantly, students gain a sense of confidence that they can learn Mandarin quickly and effectively.

While we allocate a lot of time to practice speaking during our lessons, we think it is important for students to have free conversations among each other in a relaxed setting that simulates what life in China is like. The Conversational Chinese Workshop's format also guides students when needed and bolsters speaking skills with conversational tips.
